Terms
Plain-language rules for using the network. Last updated October 2026.
Using the network
- Every game is reviewed by hand before it can show or be shown. We can pause or remove a game at any time.
- Keep cards optional for players: don’t force them to look at a card, block gameplay with one, or reward players for clicking.
- Don’t fake impressions or clicks. Games that do are removed and lose their credits.
- You keep the rights to your game, art and text. You let us show them on cards and on this site.
Custom cards
- Custom cards are for your own studio’s news: your games, crowdfunding, community, soundtracks, merch, sales and events, or a partner you chose yourself.
- They only show in your own games. You’re responsible for what they say and where they link.
- Don’t sell space on them as advertising, and follow the store rules where your game is sold (for Steam, Valve’s rules on advertising).
- No adult content, scams, malware, gambling, or links that pretend to be something else. We can pause any card that breaks these rules.
Price
- Pixeldoor is free to use, including custom cards and stats.
- If we ever add paid features, we’ll tell developers first. You’ll never be charged for anything you didn’t sign up for yourself.
The fine print
- The plugin and the service are provided as they are. We work to keep them running but can’t promise they’ll never go down, or that cards will lead to a set number of clicks or sales.
- As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
- We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell developers before it takes effect.
